Thank you for inviting me to walk alongside you during this sacred season of birth. My name is Victoria, creative force behind Oya’s Basket, I offer doula care rooted in ancestral wisdom, compassion, advocacy, autonomy, and integrity.

My mission as your doula is to hold space for you with tenderness and strength, honoring your choices, your body, and your spirit. Whether you are preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or seeking community care, I am here to support you with presence, intention, advocacy, and love.

Fun facts about me - I’m a native DMV girlie now residing in the south (hey, yall, heyyy!). I’m affectionately known as Mama to 3 daughters, all of which were unmedicated, natural births. I have over 6 years of combined lactation/breastfeeding experience. I enjoy growing my own food and am slowly expanding my garden to be able to combat food insecurity for the families I serve. Beginning January 2026, I’ll be raising chickens (my little yard nuggets). I previously owned and operated Mama Junelle’s from 2017 to 2022, where I specialized in all things holistic health and wellness, and I look forward to infusing some of my knowledge and offerings here in this new space.
